And that’s the big difference you’ll notice when you make the switch- Hume supernatural is NOT an antiperspirant. It does not stop you from sweating. It only addresses odor.

Honest Hume Supernatural Deodorant Review
My Hume Supernatural deodorant arrived packaged neatly in a sturdy box.
I got one of the new oval stick styles and two of the original round style. A postcard included explained that they are switching everything over to the broad oval design.
Hume Scent Review
Vanilla Daze: I was not a fan of this one! I put it on before a Pilates class and I smelled like a vanilla latte the whole time. It was pretty distracting. I have not used this one again. It was heavier on the coffee smell than the vanilla smell.
Desert Bloom: I would describe this one as a water scent, even though it says agave and citrus. It’s a nice fresh scent.
Wild Coral: I’m not sure why it is named coral, but the smell says it has hints of watermelon and star lily, which I do get. It smells like a flower without being too flowery. This one ended up being my favorite.
How the Deodorant Performed
It felt a little wet at first going on and I had to get used to that. My usual deodorant is Lady Speed Stick, which goes on dry and makes you feel dry right away.
Their website claims, “Feel confident all day long with dry, clean, and odorless underarms.” However, I’m still a little confused how it would keep you dry, as it is not an antiperspirant.
I’m not a very sweaty person, so I gave the Desert Bloom one to a friend who sweats a lot. She said it did not stop her from sweating, but it does stop you from stinking.
Personally, I did not really notice a difference in amount of sweat, so maybe it does help if you don’t perspire heavily. It does claim to “absorb moisture with nature’s super-absorbers, trapping and binding odor before it forms.”
I’m not sure what those “super-absorbers” are, but I guess they do help a bit with sweat, as I never felt excessively sweaty and I live in Florida where it feels like it’s 9000 degrees in the summer.
As far as the shape, I didn’t mind the older round style, which is shaped like this:
But they are now a wider oval style, which is supposed to make it easier to apply to all areas of the body and not just underarms.
Overall, I thought the nice smell lasted a long time and felt that it was an effective deodorant. I’m actually still using it regularly. However, I may try another brand my friend suggested after this. The other brand has one that stops sweat as well.
