Insanely Low Priced Long Red Wig

I was updating my Amazon page and saw that one of my favorite long wavy red wigs is on sale for 78% off! This is the wig I usually wear for Poison Ivy and Spider-Man’s Mary Jane Watson.

It would also work great for Ariel, from The Little Mermaid, and Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And you can get it now for under $7!

**9/19 Update: The wig is currently priced at around $20

Long Red Wavy Wig by Leg Avenue

This isn’t a very fancy wig- it doesn’t even have an adjustable cap. It’s just a cheap black mesh on the inside. But the color is great, and it lays the way I want it to in the front. It does shed a bit, but not enough to lose its shape or thickness.

I would recommend it more for costumes and cosplay than for an every-day wig. It works better for characters and might not pass as real hair.

I originally paid $25 for mine, so under $7 is a steal! All of the other color wigs appear to be regular price, so maybe they are closing out on this style. It has been available for more than 10 years now! If you want it, don’t wait or it may be gone.

Let’s Talk About Red Hair

Red hair, with its distinctive hue ranging from fiery copper to deep auburn, holds a unique allure that has captivated imaginations across cultures and centuries. I often dyed my hair red when I was a teenager and still like to wear red wigs today.

Often associated with traits like passion and individuality, red hair stands out as a vibrant and uncommon characteristic. Beyond its visual impact, red hair is linked to a series of genetic factors, with the MC1R gene responsible for the production of red pigment. But you don’t need the right genes if you know where to get the right wig!

Throughout history, individuals with red hair have been the subjects of fascination and sometimes even superstition, with myths and legends attributing special qualities to those with this striking feature.

Whether it’s the spirited Anne Shirley from “Anne of Green Gables,” the enchanting mermaid Ariel, or the fierce Marvel superhero Black Widow, red-haired characters continue to leave an indelible mark in literature, art, and popular culture.

Embracing shades as diverse as the autumn leaves, red hair remains a symbol of individuality, passion, and a touch of the extraordinary.
