I used it for my Mushroom Fairy cosplay. Click here for the details on my rhinestone freckles.
All the pieces of this fairy costume were from Amazon. I do not recommend getting the mushroom hat unless you are ready to get creative. The hat was very cheap, and I had to add more spots and then draw the gills on the underside to make it look decent.

The green wig is a favorite, comes in many colors, and is usually priced around $12!

Symbolism and Cultural References:
- Fairy Rings:
- Mushroom rings, also known as fairy rings, are naturally occurring circles of mushrooms that have long been associated with fairies. Folklore suggests that these rings are created by dancing fairies, and stepping into one can transport a person into the fairy realm or bring good or bad luck.
- Literature and Art:
- Mushroom fairies have been a popular subject in children’s literature, fantasy novels, and fairy tales. They often symbolize the enchanting and mysterious aspects of the natural world.
- In art, they are frequently depicted in whimsical and fantastical scenes, surrounded by vibrant mushrooms and forest elements.
