Get ready for Jax Pop Con, an all-ages celebration of pop culture and fandom at Jacksonville’s Main Library downtown on March 23rd from 11Am-5PM.

There will be activities, cosplay, vendors and a costume contest!

A comic con, short for comic book convention, is an event that celebrates various aspects of pop culture, including comic books, movies, TV shows, video games, and more.

At a comic con, attendees can expect to engage in activities such as panel discussions, celebrity meet and greets, autograph signings, cosplay contests, and artist alley where they can meet and purchase artwork from comic book artists and writers. The library’s con is on a smaller scale, so you may spot a few “local celebs” but no movie stars at this one!

Additionally, attendees can explore vendor booths offering a wide range of merchandise, from collectibles and memorabilia to handmade crafts and fan art.

Overall, comic cons provide a space for fans to come together, share their passions, and immerse themselves in a diverse array of pop culture experiences.
