For this one you’ll need a hooded purple cloak, black long sleeve bodysuit, red face jewel, red jewel belt and arm pieces, black shoes, and purple wig. Gray skin is optional.

Raven DC Teen Titans
Raven, also known as Rachel Roth on Earth, is a prominent character in DC Comics’ Teen Titans. Her origin stems from a union between a human mother, Arella, and the interdimensional demon Trigon.
This background grants her complex powers, like empathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and the ability to manifest dark energy into solid forms. Despite her connection to dark forces, Raven often fights to suppress her dark side, striving to use her abilities for good.
Her calm and enigmatic demeanor contrasts with her immense power, making her a fascinating character within the Teen Titans universe.
Raven’s Costume and Appearance
Raven’s iconic appearance is characterized by a hooded purple cloak that envelops her figure, creating a mysterious and enigmatic aura. The cloak has a pointed hood that is supposed to give the appearance of a raven from the side.
Beneath the cloak, Raven is clad in a sleek black long sleeve bodysuit with a high collar. Cosplayers often choose to wear a bodysuit with a vinyl appearance rather than just nylon.
One of the most distinctive features of Raven’s ensemble is the striking red face jewel, which is in a diamond shape and located in the center of her forehead. It is a containment unit for the purpose to imprison her inner demon. When broken or tampered with, her inner demon is released.
To complete her compelling ensemble, Raven is adorned with a red jewel belt and arm pieces, adding a touch of mystique and elegance to her outfit. These accessories accentuate her supernatural abilities and convey a sense of otherworldly power.
I added the red jewel accessories shown above to my Raven cosplay because the ones that came with the packaged outfit were not very nice. This set is very well made and looks great!
Embodying her signature style, Raven’s footwear consists of sleek black shoes that enhance her agility and combat prowess, allowing her to move with grace and precision during battle.
Raven’s hair is a sleek straight purple bob that slopes longer in the front and comes to a widow’s peak on her forehead.

While not essential, some cosplayers may choose to incorporate the option of very pale or gray skin to further emulate Raven’s character, capturing her supernatural origins and enhancing the overall portrayal of this captivating and complex heroine.

A few notes if you do purchase the full costume from Amazon:
- Order early! I did not find this one to be an easy fit and had to return the first one and order much larger than expected.
- Ordering the extra accessories isn’t necessary as it does come with all the pieces, but they are a little cheap looking.
- The hooded cloak is actually very nice but will be horribly wrinkled. Make sure you take it out and iron or steam it before wearing.
